Here’s a step-by-step guide to our recruitment process:
Step 1: video interview
If your online application is successful, you’ll be asked to attend a video interview. Taking place at a time and location convenient to you, this will focus on your personal attributes and experiences. After you are invited to the video interview, you will have 5 days to complete this.
Step 2: face to face / telephone interview
If you are successful during the video interview, we’ll invite you to a face to face / telephone interview event. This will further test your attributes and skills. You’ll also get to meet us and find out more about BP.
Step 3: assessment centre
The final stage is an assessment centre where you will meet senior members of the BP team, learn more about our businesses, get to know more of our people and participate in a series of interviews and exercises. This will be challenging but also really informative and a good way for you to demonstrate your skills and capabilities.
In preparation for the assessment centre we will ask you to complete three aptitude tests measuring important workplace reasoning skills.
The offer decision
We’ll be in touch as soon as we can after your assessment centre. Whatever the outcome, you’ll be offered feedback on your application at this stage so you take valuable learning from the experience.
