BP in the community

Over the last 40 years, BP has demonstrated a commitment to communities in the UK.

BP's support for arts and culture in the UK goes back over 35 years. Today it is focused on long-term partnerships with the Royal Opera House; National Portrait Gallery; British Museum; and Tate Britain. These partnerships have recently been renewed for five years, with an investment of nearly £10 million from BP.

We're also developing talent in our communities, through our support of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects. What started simply as a resource for teachers is now a comprehensive programme that contributes to every area of education in the UK, including early stage, primary, secondary, tertiary and vocational.
