BP holds world-leading positions in three key product areas — acetyls, paraxylene and purified terephthalic acid (PTA). At BP, we are focused on continuous improvement in all that we do. Our petrochemicals business has grown in large measure from our willingness and ability to identify our customers’ changing needs as they meet consumer requirements and environmental standards.

Our objective is to produce and supply products that are critical building blocks for a wealth of consumer products in the world's growth markets, cost effectively and in an environmentally friendly way, by employing the best people, taking care of our community, and delivering value to our shareholders.
