Why work here?
Well, there's the satisfaction of selling products people need. There's the great training to help you into specialist cafe or management roles. And then there's the stability of joining a multi-billion pound business – and enjoying things like 28 days' holiday, a pension, premium bank holiday pay, bonuses, half-price work meals and corporate discounts. Visit our retail careers website to find out more about how to jump-start your career with BP.
What we look for
Ask us what three things make BP people better than the rest, and we'll say 'customer service, customer service and customer service'. That said, you don't necessarily need customer service experience to join us. We want friendly people with a professional attitude and knack for making customers feel special.
‘Connections’ is our development programme. It’s a fast-track management training scheme packed with modules and workshops that will give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to move onwards and upwards. And how fast is ‘fast-track’? Join us as a customer service assistant tomorrow and you could be running your own store in just over three years! But only if you want to. No-one is forced to move up through the ranks. Many people are happy to give their best at the same level throughout their career with us – and that’s absolutely fine.
