National Women in Engineering Day helps to raise the profile of women in engineering. To celebrate we hear from 5 women in BP that are helping to show the inspiring career opportunities available to girls in this industry

Currently women make up less than 10% of the UK’s engineering sector – the lowest percentage of female engineering professionals in Europe. With a large skills gap looming and the additional need for a more diverse workforce, it’s never been more important to encourage girls to choose a career in engineering.
