In April 1967 BP bought the distillery at Saltend and in 2017 BP would like to celebrate 50 years of operations in Hull with employees, past and present. The celebration will be a chance to thank and recognise long-service BP Hull staff for the hard work and commitment they have put into building this successful business
Hull is home to some of BP’s most innovative and cutting-edge operations. BP owns and operates a chemical manufacturing facility that is the largest producer of acetic acid and acetic anhydride in Europe. It is also one of BP’s principal global centres for petrochemicals research and technology and hosts part of BP’s Centre of Expertise in Applied Chemistry and Physics (AC&P).
BP would like to invite employees currently working at BP Hull who have achieved 30 or more years with BP and retired colleagues who achieved 30 years or more and ended their careers at BP Hull.
The event will be held later this year and will provide you with the opportunity to celebrate your time at BP Hull and your part of the company’s history.
