In 2007, Laura had a significant role at BP, but decided to retire after her husband passed away and she became a single parent. Following the Deepwater Horizon spill in 2010, Laura came back looking to help and is now an integral part of BP's new Gulf Coast Restoration Organization. "There are days when I find myself quite humbled by the intellect and the capacity of the people that I'm working with," Laura says.
