The aspiration of the Trinidad Kapok development and Bombax transportation projects is to achieve world class Health, Safety and Environmental performance. They are designed and managed to be inherently safe to operators and the environment. In addition, high HSE expectations have been established for the construction and installation phases for each project.

They will be distinctive through:

Energy conservation
Greenhouse Gas emission minimisation
Elimination of produced water discharge
Move toward zero discharge of drill mud,cuttings and fluids
Increased computerisation and minimised manning off-shore, to improve the working conditions of our people

BPTT's approach has been to involve the community in the Kapok and Bombax development. Several meetings have been held within the community and with the relevant NGOs. We are working together to protect our community and environment.
