Brigitta Berner, IT Manager, from Bertschi Switzerland, summarised their experience with BP as follows: "About 5 years ago we were contacted by BP and asked whether we would be interested in joining a pilot project to prove the concept of electronic communication via Elemica. Bertschi's management decided it would be a good learning opportunity as we are always looking at ways of improving the services we offer to our customers. At the end of the pilot, we found that by receiving the orders directly into our ERP system, we did not only remove the chance of any errors by having to key in all the orders manually, but it also gave our planners more time for scheduling the shipments. So when BP offered this solution, we were keen to get onboard".
