Increased security implemented at BP Cherry Point Refinery

In response to the September 11 terrorist attacks in New York City and Herndon, Virginia, increased security measures have been implemented at the BP Cherry Point Refinery in Blaine.
These measures will remain in effect until corporate officials can be confident of employee and community safety.
Refinery operations continue as normal under the heightened security measures.
