BP Turbo Oil 274

BP Turbo Oil 274 is a synthetic turbo oil having a viscosity of approximately 7.5 cSt at 212ºF (100ºC). It is formulated with special synthetic base stocks and additives to inhibit wear, oxidation, and foaming.

It provides good high temperature performance and load-carrying ability. BPTO274 is approved against DEF STAN 91-98/1 (DERD 2487).

Applications

BPTO 274 is now being used by over 50 airlines throughout the world, representing near two-thirds of the world’s commercial requirement for 7.5 cSt turbo oils, including Rolls Royce Dart engines. BPTO 274 has been approved by a wide range of engine and accessory manufacturers for their applicable equipment, including: Rolls Royce LTD, Dowty Rotol, Hawker Siddeley Dynamics, Solar and Pratt & Whitney Canada.
