BP's Sustainability Presentation at Korean Standards Association (KSA)

On August 26th 2008, Yoosuk Kim presented the BP's Sustainability Review at a public Sustainable Management Seminar organized by Korean Standards Association (KSA) and sponsored by the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy. More than 50 executives of strategy, planning and CSR from SK Telecom, LG Chem. Ltd and KNOC attended the said seminar. Yoosuk Kim explained the BP's corporate responsibility framework to describe BP's approach to sustainability, which are 'Responsible operations', 'BP and climate change' and 'BP and development'.
The participants expressed their great interest in BP's case as a global company to pursue sustainability as a company wide strategy rather than a responsibility in a specific division. They also asked about the background for BP to be selected as the Fortune's most accountable company in 2007.
