Employee relations specialist assurance

As Employee Relations Specialist Assurance, my role involves assessing and providing assurance to our Human Resources leadership that our HR policies and procedures meet the requirements of related employment legislation; and Codes of Practice; and that our businesses are operating in accordance with them. I play a key role in collating input from our various stakeholders, and responding to employment related Government Consultation Documents , on behalf of BP UK, to ensure that the views of BP are heard by the UK Government. I am also a focal point for Equal Opportunities queries. BP is a founding member of the charity, Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities of which I am a trustee.
I am a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and have a BA Hons degree in Sociology, and an MSc in Industrial Relations.
