To make the most of Angola’s resources
We’ve invested in the best people and technology
You’ve got the energy and expertise we need
BP is one of the world’s largest energy companies, employing over 96,000 people and operating in over 100 countries worldwide.
We have an important presence in Angola – one of the worlds major centres for oil and gas exploration, development and production. Our presence in Angola continues to grow with successful E&P activity across 4 deep water offshore blocks and an LNG plant onshore.
We are continually looking for talented, committed and ambitious people to help us shape the face of energy for the future.
Are you up to the challenge?
Our Angolan operations are complex and technically demanding
We’re looking for people who will develop their skills and work well alongside experts from a wide variety of disciplines.
They’ll have the support of world-class colleagues and access to state of the art technology and work in a stimulating, creative environment.
BP’s success depends as much on business analysis, finance, procurement, accounting, HR and IT as it does on our production and technological skills.
So we’re looking for highly motivated people with the widest range of non-technical skills to play their part in enhancing production in Angola.
You’ll work closely with colleagues from different disciplines in a creative environment.
We know that to attract, motivate and keep hold of the best people, the rewards and benefits we offer must be highly competitive and attractive.
Our package is different to other companies – it is tailored to individual needs and takes into account individual performance.
BP is a learning organization. To lead the global market, we need to continue to make better use of our knowledge.

Our objective in Angola is to develop the best people, the best operations and the best projects: Developing the Best to be the Best.
BP has been operating in Angola for over 40 years. The volume of investments made so far positions the company amongst the best for investing in Angola, having invested more than 11 billion US dollars.
Our exploration and production activity focuses on deepwater operations in Angola, which are both complex and challenging. We need to apply state of the art technology and man our operations with highly knowledgeable and capable individuals to develop the resources available to us. Our first oil production as operators was officially carried out in the Greater Plutonium field on 1 October 2007.
We want to recruit Angolan nationals with substantial experience in their field and with a proven record of business and technical skills in multiple areas, in order to support our vast range of business activity.
