MBA recruitment is changing
We are currently undertaking a global, business wide review of the way that we recruit and develop MBA talent at BP. We want to ensure that our current MBA programme continues to meet the changing needs of the business for top talent and is in line with our business' Forward Agenda. Whilst we conduct our review we will be making some changes to the way that we recruit our MBA talent.Key changes are:
- No internships available Summer 2009
- From 2009 no requirement to complete an internship prior to application for a full time MBA role
- Applications for Helios Fellowships will be open during autumn 2009 for entry in autumn 2010
- New programme details and application process posted on our website from spring 2009

Our Global MBA programme enables us to identify, attract and develop individuals with exceptional talent and in doing so seeks to establish them on a path for future leadership roles in BP.Join the Global MBA Programme and you will have the opportunity to:

Entry requirements
The programme demands individuals with strong leadership potential; a visible track record of achievement; global exposure and experience and commitment; energy and drive to meet the challenges of BP today and in the future. Assessment and selection is rigorous: our aim is to propel highly talented candidates towards long-term success within BP.You will need:
- substantial work experience prior to commencing MBA study; usually a minimum of 4 years
- evidence of operating in an international environment and exposure to global business
- current status as an MBA student
- to be internationally mobile
Learning and development
Helios fellowshipThis prestigious programme offers a two-year Fellowship to commence after the completion of MBA studies. During your Fellowship you will have the opportunity to shape your career path in our business. You may rotate across our different business segments or spend your time gaining an in-depth understanding of one of our businesses. You will have the opportunity to network widely with key stakeholders in the business and other Helios Fellows and alumni. Like BP recruits on other development programmes, Fellows will be supported by a mentor and a buddy.

Helios FellowsHelios Fellows can be located anywhere in the world, assuming BP can obtain the necessary legal permission for you to work there. As such, BP provides you with an appropriate remuneration package that can include:

What next?
