Biodiversity
Biodiversity literally means 'diversity in life', a multitude of plant and animal species. It is a relatively new and comprehensive concept supported by the BP Group via the 'Global Environmental Issues Team', established in 1999. The subject is also cherished at BP in Geel. Indeed, the company is pretty sure that the existence of the factory has a positive influence on biodiversity.
