Paraffin
BP Paraffin is a highly-refined, water-white, paraffin which gives a clear, smokeless flame with minimum charring of the wick. It is used for burning in lamps, refrigerators, stoves incubators, etc.
Advantages:
- colour stability
- low odour level
- little tendency to smoke during burning
- low sulphur content (improves the burning characteristics and reduces 'bloom' on lampglass chimneys)
- economical and safe to use
