The NGL North American Business Unit markets over 670 thousand barrels per day of NGL products, over 200 million barrels a year. The US and Canadian NGL gas plant production represents 48% of the world's NGL production. Our assets are segmented into 4 distinct components. In the South, there are three asset webs; the Gulf of Mexico which supports proprietary GOM gas production and petrochemicals, the North-South with diverse supply across the Rockies, San Juan and Hugoton through fractionation and transportation, and the West Coast with major refinery production, butane balancing and export. In the North, the West to East system involves major Canadian liquid gathering and processing in primarily Alberta into Sarnia fractionation. The Global NGL Business Unit is growing the business internationally, and building on BP's leading position in North America.
