BP Connect service station
With more than 400 service stations across the country, BP is a household name in Switzerland

What we do

We've worked in Switzerland for over a century, first opening an office here in 1909. These days our main interests are in retail, lubricants, wholesale and aviation.

We've become part of everyday life here. The BP brand is a familiar sight - and Switzerland was one of the first countries in the world to adopt the new Helios brand across all our stations.

Our network of over 400 service stations is one of the largest in the country, with some very central and convenient locations. For extra convenience, 160 of our stations include shops and we operate almost 60 Wild Bean Cafés.

BP Ultimate unleaded 98 and BP Ultimate Diesel were introduced in 2007.

In 2011, BP (Switzerland) AG joined BP Europa SE. BP Europa SE covers all BP Refining and Marketing activities in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland and Hungary.

The Swiss business activities further on will being conducted by the Swiss branch of BP Europa SE: BP Europa SE, Hamburg, Zweigniederlassung BP (Switzerland) Zug. BP Europa SE with its branch assumes all rights and obligations from the former BP (Switzerland) AG.

With the implementation of the SE, we simplify BP’s legal structure in Europe, corporate governance as well as the processes in Finance and Tax departments.

Our people and partners

We employ around 120 people in Switzerland. The main centre of employment is in Zug - located in the center of Switzerland between Zurich and Lucerne - in the German part of Switzerland.

Community investment

We are committed to improving the quality of the environment, being socially responsible and promoting safety.
