We are continually looking for talented, committed and ambitious people to help us shape the evolution of the global energy industry in the coming decades.

BP made a commitment in 2005 to invest $8 billion over 10 years on alternative energy. We are investing at a faster pace than this, and at the end of 2011 we had invested around $7 billion, with about $4 billion of that in the US.

Alternative Energy is focusing on those sectors of the energy industry where we can profitability grow our business. This has led us to focus on wind and biofuels, and we are also investing in clean technology to gain strategic insights into the developments in this sector.

Future Opportunities

We are expanding and as new projects come on board, we will be looking for people with a wide range of skills to help us deliver them. We are particularly keen to receive applications from, project engineers, project managers, plant operators and technicians with experience within these areas.
