BP is one of the main sponsors of the traffic hall
The hall located near by BP's office, at Forus in Stavanger has training rooms and stands equipped to demonstrate what happens during collisions, the impact on your head when the car is hit by another, impact of loose objects during shock breaking etc. The intent is to create awareness and stimulate to defensive and responsible driving. Courses in the traffic hall have become compulsory for all wanting to qualify for a driving license in the Stavanger region. BP has been one of the main sponsors since its opening in 2004.
Try to get out of the car when it‘s upside down
BP offers defensive driving courses to staff which includes sessions in the traffic hall. All employees who may drive a vehicle during workings are expected to complete a driving course each third year. Special rules for road safety and vehicles have been developed for BP staff to comply with.
