Your salary will be reviewed annually, usually in early spring, to ensure that it remains competitive. This is done by comparing it with current levels of pay in the market and your peers.
In addition to your salary, allowances may be paid in recognition of particular aspects of your job, such as unsocial working hours, location or increased responsibility.

Holidays and leave
Normally you will have 25 days’ paid holiday leave per year, plus any bank holidays. Further special paid leave – such as when you are moving or getting married – is also available at the company’s discretion.
Career breaks
These are designed to retain skills and expertise of value to the company. Once you have established your career, extended unpaid leave is available at management discretion for a period of up to two years.
Charitable donations
BP employees can access up to US$5,000 per year through the BP Employee Matching Fund (EMF). The Fund encourages active fund raising and volunteering by matching your time and/or money spent with charitable organizations.
Sports facilities
Most BP locations have their own sports facilities or have arranged reduced rates at local facilities.
