1970s

| 1977 | Start marine fuels and lubricant sales business through an agent |
1980s
| 1982 | Start sales of petrochemical products |
| 1985 | Start marine lubricants blending at Michang |
| 1987 | Start auto and industrial lubricants business through a technical license agreement with the Hanwha Energy |
| 1989 | Found Samsung BP Chemicals Co., Ltd, a joint venture with Samsung (Acetic Acid, Hydrogen) |
| 1989 | Commission lubricants blending factory in Ulsan |
1990s
| 1995 | Found Asian Acetyls Co., Ltd, a joint venture with Samsung (Vinyl Acetate Monomer) |
| 1997 | Found BP Lubricants Korea Ltd. and start direct lubricant sales businesses to auto and industrial users |
| 1998 | Merge with Amoco and change the company name to BP Amoco |
2000s
| 2000 | Merge with Arco |
| 2000 | Change the company name to BP |
| 2001 | Merge with Castrol |
| 2003 | Found K-Power, a joint venture with SK Corp (Power Generation) |
| 2003 | Samsung BP Chemicals win BP Helios Award |
| 2004 | Commit a LNG SPA (Sales Purchase Agreement) with Posco and K Power |
| 2005 | Win the Trade and Investment Award from BCCK |
| 2006 | Take delivery of the Greater Plutonio (FPSO, Floating Production Storage Offloading) from Hyundai Heavy Industries |
| 2007 | Lubricant blending plant in Ulsan achieve 18 years of incident free operation |
| 2008 | Participate in clean up oil spilled in Taean with collection of contribution |
| 2009 | BP's centenary year |
