After completing the on-line request form, an Authorized BP Solar dealer will call you to answer your initial questions and schedule an appointment. Your dealer will explain how the system works, and explain what solar can do for you.Your BP Solar representative will assess:
- your roof: to determine orientation, pitch, shading, type and overall condition. This helps to ascertain the optimal size for your solar electric system
- the sunlight access and intensity of your location: to determine the exact path of the sun over your home, to calculate solar potential for your area. This helps to ascertain how much energy your solar electric system will produce
You'll also learn how the system works and find out about the financial rebates and incentives available in your area. If you wish, we will provide you with references from other BP Solar owners.
Your BP Solar dealer can also help arrange financing.
Finally, you'll receive an all-inclusive quote for the installation of a solar system for your home.

Installation typically takes about two days. Your Authorized BP Solar dealer will help you through the entire process.
Once you've decided to install a BP Solar Home Solutions® solar electric system, your BP Solar dealer will help you complete and submit rebate and incentive forms and begin the local permitting application process.
After the permitting and rebates have been approved, your BP Solar dealer will schedule an installation date and order your system. Licensed BP Solar professionals will install your system.
Upon completion, your BP Solar dealer will make sure you're familiar with your new system and your owner's manual. Your dealer will also schedule the final building code inspection.
Since your system requires minimal maintenance - an occasional rinsing with your backyard hose - all you need to do is sit back and watch the savings add up!
