Step 1 – Schedule a free in-home consultation
Visit selected The Home Depot® stores or call The Home Depot® solar power hotline at 1-800-632-1111 to schedule a free in-home solar consultation. A licensed solar professional will visit you at home to assess your electricity needs .

Step 2 – Professional installation
A BP Solar/ The Home Depot® service professional will help you complete all the paperwork and take care of the permitting application process. Where state rebates apply, The Home Depot® will handle the forms and subtract the rebate directly from the purchase price. (Rebates subtracted from the purchase price is not applicable in Florida.)

Once all approvals are in place, your professional installer will work with you to schedule an installation date. Licensed technicians will install the system, which normally takes less than two days. After the installation, a service professional will perform a quality audit and inspection.
Step 3 – Six-month check-up
A free six-month check-up will follow the initial inspection. All BP Solar Home Solutions® systems purchased through The Home Depot® include a BP Solar 10-year full service warranty and a 25-year limited warranty on the solar panels.
