Transportation and trade
The Saxi Batuque Blend grade will be exported via a dedicated FPSO, loading offshore through its own buoy close to the production vessel.
Typical parcel sizes will be approximately 1m barrels. The buoy has the capacity to accept either 1m barrel vessels or VLCCs for combi-cargoes – both as first or second cargo loads. The peak field production will be 100 kbpd with a cargo available for loading approximately every ten days.
Angola is ideally positioned to serve both the Atlantic Basin and Pacific Rim markets. It is expected that Saxi Batuque Blend will attract a wide customer base in the United States, Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean.
