Purpose of the BP Energy Center

There are two purposes of the BP Energy Center. The first is to serve as a training, meeting, and conference center for nonprofits and education organizations throughout Alaska. A large multi-purpose room and five smaller meeting rooms are available without charge to eligible organizations.
The second purpose of the BP Energy Center is to provide an opportunity for all Alaskans, regardless of age, to become more familiar with the energy industry in our state. At the Center, interpretive and interactive displays provide information on many aspects of the industry. Teachers can bring students to the BP Energy Center to use these displays and other available materials as teaching tools. They can also request that an employee guest lecturer speak to their students, either at the BP Energy Center or in their classrooms (subject to availability).
