As the official oil and gas partner for London 2012, BP will provide advanced fuels and lubricants for the 4,700 official vehicles, along with car cleaning services and liquefied petroleum gas for catering needs. And as a sustainability partner, we will play a key role in creating a lasting legacy for the UK, many years after the Games have been and gone.
The Olympic and Paralympic Games stand for the mobilisation of human energy to achieve outstanding performance; for partnership and courage. These attributes are at the heart of BP’s own agenda. Our partnership with London 2012 will allow us to celebrate these attributes and demonstrate how BP is a company that makes a difference, delivers and acts at the frontier.
London 2012 will be one of the largest partnership projects to which BP has put its name. The high levels of exposure generated by the Olympic and Paralympic Games will create an opportunity for BP to project our brand and to engage with our employees, new and existing customers and partners in the arts, education and cultural arena.
