Because ordinary fuel can leave deposits in your engine, we’ve formulated BP Ultimate Unleaded with outstanding engine cleaning performance, so it helps clean your engine as you ride. This could help you go further on BP Ultimate compared with ordinary fuel.
In order to prove the exceptional engine cleaning properties of BP Ultimate Unleaded, we took two standard bikes – a KTM RC8 and a BMW R1200GS – and re-engineered their fuel systems. One half of the engine was run solely on ordinary fuel, the other on BP Ultimate Unleaded.
