GB Fuel Efficiency Challenge
This year BP Ultimate launched the GB Fuel Efficiency Challenge
Aimed at showing drivers how they can save money on their fuel just by changing the way they drive. The scheme which toured the UK, visiting: London, Birmingham, Reading and Northampton, visited many business and engaged with members of the public. At the events driving experts demonstrated how much money they could save as well as the benefits of using advanced fuels such as BP Ultimate.During the challenge, participants were asked to drive a pre-determined twenty minute route that took into account all the things you would expect to encounter on urban roads: speed bumps, roundabouts, crossroads, traffic lights etc. Independant experts then gave them tips on the more efficient ways of tackling these obstacles. The results demonstrated that motorists could save themselves hundreds of pounds a year by adopting these simple techniques.
