Intern recruitment program
WHAT IS IT?
Summer internships is 10 week employment with BP during summer vacation. During your internship, you’ll receive competitive salary, experience genuine teamwork, and work alongside highly qualified and experienced colleagues, getting involved in live projects and operations, using the latest equipment and technology. You will have opportunity to explore your career aspirations and develop the technical and personal skills you will need for a successful career.HOW IS IT DONE?
At the beginning of your internship we discuss with you the skills we hope you will develop and encourage you to keep a record of your progress. All interns are supported by a line manager who sets your objectives with you and ensures you have the support and equipment to succeed.A detailed and focused appraisal process is essential to ensure that you get the most from your experience. Your line manager will monitor your progress and discuss it with you throughout the internship, and specifically during a mid-internship review. This helps you to see where you are succeeding and what else is needed before the end of the internship.
As well as this, you will also be assigned a buddy who helps network you across BP, discusses your progress and can address any questions you have.
