Compressor Oils

Aircol PD 68, 100, 150

The Aircol PD range of compressor oils are based on highly refined mineral oils and carefully chosen additives. They are intended for the lubrication of rotary and reciprocating compressors.
Aircol PD are ashless oils recommended for the lubrication ofrotors, bearings and gears in rotary compressors, especially oil flooded screw types with delivery temperatures of up to120°C.

Aircol PD compressor oils exhibit low carbon forming tendenciesand meet the requirements of the DIN 51506 VD-L classificationfor reciprocating compressors having air discharge temperaturesup to 220°

The Aircol PD range is fully compatible with nitrile, silicone andfluropolymer seal materials.Aircol PD is classified as follows:
DIN 51506 VD-L.
ISO 6743-3 Compressor Oils:
DAA and DAB for reciprocating air compressors.
DAG for rotary air compressors.

Features and benefits

  • Good viscosity characteristics over a wide range.
  • Excellent water separation characteristics allows condensation toreadily separate from the oil, minimising the risk of emulsions which could block the oil separator element.
  • Prevents corrosion when operating under humid conditions.
  • Excellent coalescing properties means little carry over of oil in the air stream.
  • Low deposit forming tendencies extends oil change intervals andprovides longer air filter life which contributes to a reduction in maintenance costs.
  • Good thermal stability, low volatility and low carbon formation reduces the risk of fire and explosion.

Arrovals Status

Aircol PD grades meet the requirements of:
Atlas Copco (2000 hour oil).
Compair.
