In 2012 BP supported over 60 outstanding athletes from nine countries
The majority of these athletes competed at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Supporting these athletes was a way for BP to inspire our customers, employees and the public, while shining a spotlight on the future of sport. By offsetting the carbon emitted as they travelled to training and competitions through BP Target Neutral, we helped them to leave a smaller carbon footprint than their competitors.
