The Helios Awards – BP’s global employee recognition programme
The Helios Awards are an established part of BP. Existing since 2001, the awards provide an annual opportunity for teams around the world to share their challenges and achievements
The programme aims to recognise teams globally and share their stories to show how they are living the BP values and thereby contributing to building a safer & stronger BP.
These stories enable us as a company to demonstrate the actions we wish to see in BP. The teams are bringing the values and priorities of BP to life.
In 2012 the Helios Award categories mirror BP’s values of safety, respect, excellence, courage and one team. To deliver on our values, as well as our priorities of safety, trust and value, we need to be clear about what we stand for, how we work and the kind of company we want to be.
