BP is my employer of choice. With a background in electrical engineering, there were different parts of BP that I could join. In the end, I decided on Subsurface – and specialised in petroleum engineering while I was still at university. What I like most about my work is being part of a multidisciplinary team. We work with innovative technology and the quality of our data is unbeatable.

Constant learning

BP is a great school. I’ve acquired a wide range of new technical skills since I’ve been here through both organised training courses and on-the-job learning. The experience and expertise of the people around me and the resources that are available also make a big difference. The policies are fair and the people are friendly.

Constant challenges

I’ve been at BP for only 18 months. But in that time, I’ve already faced some real challenges. My career highlight so far has been delivering the well review for one of the fields in Greater Plutonio. I can’t see any obstacles to my progress, and there are so many resources in place to help me grow with my career.
