Annual executive training programme ‘Leading Major Energy Projects’ for oil and gas company executives
BP supports an annual executive training programme hosted by the SKOLKOVO Moscow School of Management in partnership with MIT. It’s called ‘Leading Major Energy Projects’ and is providing Russian oil and gas company executives and senior government officials with insights and knowledge to help them manage large, complex and capital-intensive projects.
The partnership between BP and SKOLKOVO started in 2009 and is based on successful experience of the BP Project Academy at MIT.
Over the long term, it’s hoped the participating executives and officials will use knowledge gained through the programme to help Russia’s oil and gas industry modernise and achieve sustainable growth.
BP is also sponsoring the BP Energy Chair at SKOLKOVO which will allow Skolkovo to hire an international, world renowned energy expert to lead Skolkovo's energy program.
