Team USA: Fueling their future
For over a century, BP has committed itself to supporting the American people, economy and energy industry. In honor of BP’s deep ties to the U.S., we proudly announced our sponsorship of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and Team USA during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, which will extend through Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
We work with the USOC to provide America’s athletes with the opportunities, support and critical funding required by top competitors. For the London 2012 Games, we directly sponsored nine U.S. athletes with the group consisting of five Olympians and four Paralympians, specializing in everything from Track & Field to Archery.
