We’re delighted to have added three new locations to our network in recent months: Fuerteventura in Spain, Malta and Lagos Murtala Muhammed in Nigeria.
Malta / Spain
As a gateway to an archipelago of beautiful Mediterranean islands with a rich cultural heritage, Malta International Airport (MLA/ LMML) is a welcomed addition to our network. Located just 20 minutes from La Valetta’s city centre in Malta, the airport also serves as a gateway to the neighbouring islands of Comino and Gozo.
Jet A-1 is available through the into-plane service provider, Sky Tanking Malta and there are five FBOs at the airport offering a range of services whether customers are after an expedient transit through customs and immigration, seamless transfer services or fast turnarounds.
At the beginning of May, Fuerteventura Airport (FUE/ GCFV) in the Canary Islands also joined our network complementing our existing locations on Gran Canaria and Tenerife. Declared a Unesco Biosphere Reserve in 2009, the island boasts year-round sunshine, expansive beaches and dramatic volcanic landscapes, so is ideal for sun-kissed getaways.
Also known as El Matorral Airport, Fuerteventura is well equipped to handle over 8 million passengers each year, but despite its size the airport is a great choice for business and general aviation customers with five FBOs on site.
With Africa set to be one of the fastest-growing aviation markets over the next 20 years, we’re delighted to have expanded our network in to Nigeria with Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS/ DNMM) with our partner 11plc.
The Nigerian hub is the latest addition to our portfolio of around 40 locations in Africa and our team and fuelling operations there have already been described as “head and shoulders above the rest” by the airport’s operations management team. Our fuelling services at Murtala Muhammed include the supply of Jet A-1.
