We were delighted to mark a milestone in October as the official fuel supplier for the world’s longest nonstop flight.
The Singapore Airlines’ Airbus A350-900ULR flew from Newark International Airport (EWR/ KEWR) in the US to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN/ WSSS). It covered a distance of around 16,700km with a travel time of approximately 18 hours and 45 minutes.
What fuel was used? The aircraft was fuelled with Jet A, which was uplifted via Newark’s fuel system from our storage facilities in New Jersey.
Our involvement in this exciting new chapter of long-haul travel underpins our ongoing investment in our US operations where we are continuing to innovate and expand our network, as well as in Asia.
