Growing our global network

In addition to expanding our network with four new locations in China, Brazil, Belgium and The Channel Islands, we’ve also enhanced our operations in France and Spain, adding self-serve facilities to Dinard and Toledo.

Brazil

We were delighted to complement our existing network in Brazil with the addition of Salvador International Airport (SSA/ SBSV) in the north east of the country in November.

Our joint venture in the region, Air BP Petrobahia, will manage operations at Salvador. They have already invested US$3 million in enhancing the airport’s facilities, including its fuelling infrastructure and training facilities.

The addition of Salvador further strengthens our position in Brazil. Our network includes the principal airports in the country, including Santos Dumont (SDU/ SBRJ), where we also began supplying fuel earlier this year.

China

With China’s rising aviation industry continuing to soar we were also delighted to add Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport (DLC/ ZYTL) to our network in November.

The airport is ideally situated for general and business aviation customers with several FBO facilities on site and Jet A1 available. It’s also just 15 minutes from the city centre, providing easy access to Dalian and its surrounding coastline.

The Channel Islands

A gateway to the Channel Islands, Guernsey Airport (GCI/ EGJB) was a welcome addition to our network in October. The airport provides easy access to the island of Guernsey, which is just 12 miles long, but also to the neighbouring islands of Alderney and Jersey.

Passengers flying to or from Guernsey are well catered for with a quick turnaround service and several FBOs on site, including ASG, Aiglle and Rubis. Conveniently, the airport is open all year round.

Belgium

As a major European aviation hub, Brussels National Airport (BRU/ EBBR) in Belgium is one of the largest airports to have been added to our network in recent months.

Despite its vast size and high volumes of passenger traffic, it’s a great choice for business and general aviation customers, as these passengers and their aircraft are accommodated in a separate area of the airport to commercial aviation. Highlights of Brussels National include fully-equipped meeting rooms and a range of passenger as well as crew and pilot lounges. It’s also open 24 hours.

France and Spain

Both Dinard Bretagne (DNR/ LFRD) in Brittany, France and Casarrubios Del Monte Airport (LEMT) in Madrid, Spain now have self-serve facilities. Making refuelling even easier for customers, these new facilities complement the operator fuelled services at both airports.

We’re also delighted to have added Pontoise-Cormeillles-En-Vexin (POX/ LFPT) back on our network, following its temporary closure earlier in the year. Small, but perfectly formed, it offers a great alternative option for customers travelling to Paris. It’s conveniently located just 30km from the French capital and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
