Air BP is continuing the expansion of its European network with the announcement of a new location in Germany and the continuation of a successful relationship in France following the recent addition of La Axarquía/Vélez-Málaga Airport (LEAX) in Spain. From 1 April 2018, we will supply Germany’s Muenster Osnabrück Airport (FMO/EDDG) with jet fuel and avgas 100LL as well as unleaded avgas. Muenster Osnabrück is the first of our 41 locations in Germany to be supplied with our UL91 fuel grade. As one of Germany’s largest regional airports with a catchment of six million people, Muenster Osnabrück is expected to serve almost a million passengers in 2017 with some 35,000 aircraft movements. The airport soon expects to increase passenger footfall to 1.2 million passengers per year. Following 10 years of successful collaboration, we are also proud to have renewed our contract to provide fuel operations at Albert Picardie Airport (BYF/LFAQ) in France for another decade. Considering the airport is growing at an impressive rate of 40% per annum, in the coming year we are planning to upgrade the facility with the installation of a Jet A-1 self-serve facility on-site – enabling customers to access fuel safely and efficiently without having to wait for assistance – alongside an ergonomic Avgas 100LL facility and a UL91 facility. Located just 30km from the provincial capital city of Malaga in the beautiful Andalucía region of Spain, La Axarquía/Vélez-Málaga Airport (LEAX) is equipped with a 1km runway, a cafeteria, taxi service and small gift shop. As well as accepting Air BP’s Sterling Card, with all the convenience and usual benefits, the location offers a premium service. If you purchase AVGAS 100LL directly from Air BP, you can enjoy maximum speed and efficiency during refuelling.
