As we continue to expand our operations in Asia, we’re delighted to announce two new appointments for our teams in China and the Far East. Bobby Tham has been promoted to general aviation location and project manager, based out of our Singapore office. Carling Chen, meanwhile, has taken over the role of general aviation account manager based out of Guangzhou.
Many of you will already be familiar with Bobby, who for the last three years has been our general aviation regional manager for the Far East. His new role will see him take over management of our China locations in addition to Singaporean general aviation locations. He will also provide support to the wider Asia Pacific team on various projects throughout the region.
Carling joined Air BP in 2014 as a general aviation sales support and administration officer and will have assisted many of you with your fuel and scheduling requirements. In her new role Carling will be responsible for a portfolio of our general aviation customers originating from the Greater China region and South-East Asia. She will also be tasked with developing and implementing strategies to prospect for new accounts and ensuring the growth of our existing customer base in the region.
Both Bobby and Carling look forward to welcoming you to their facilities in China and Singapore. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with either of them if you have any questions about fuelling in the region. For details of our offices in Asia click here. And of course, congratulations to both Bobby and Carling on their new roles!
