This month the Red Bull Air Race World Championship touches down in Fort Worth, Texas from the 17-18 November for the final race of the season.

Texas is well known for its rodeos, ranches and as the home of the Houston Space Centre. But it’s also a sports lover’s dream destination with teams in each of the four major professional sports leagues of baseball, basketball, the National Football League and the National Hockey League.

So, it’s a fitting location to host the Red Bull Air Race World Championship’s final season showdown at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.

If you’re planning on watching the race, Fort Worth Meacham International (FTW/ KFTW) is just 30 minutes away from the Speedway and less than 15 minutes from Fort Worth city centre. It’s a dedicated general aviation hub and both Jet A and Jet+FSII are available here. A fuel release request is required for this location, which you can download here.

The airport is open from 06.00 to 22.00 Monday – Sunday. For more information on this location, click here and as with all our locations you can see pricing and order in advance on the RocketRoute MarketPlace app.
