We’re looking forward to the Red Bull Air Race World Championship returning to its Austrian roots from 15-16 September, when it will be held in Wiener Neustadt. To celebrate we’ve got 10 pairs of tickets to giveaway!
It’s 15 years since the Red Bull Air Race series began in Austria on 28 June. As the World Championship enters the final few races of the season, Wiener Neustadt is sure to attract huge crowds.
Vienna International Airport (VIE/ LOWW) is a great choice if you’re planning to watch the Red Bull Air Race in September. It’s open 24 hours and Jet A-1 fuel is available. It’s located just 17km from Vienna’s city centre and 63km from Wiener Neustadt. For full details on this Sterling Card location click here.
In the meantime, we’d like to wish all the pilots competing in this month’s Red Bull Air Race which takes place from 25-26 August in Kazan, Russia ‘happy flying’!
Fancy trying your hand at being a Red Bull Air Race pilot?
So, we can’t actually get you flying in the cockpit of a Red Bull Air Race plane, but taking part in the exclusive Air BP Challenge on the Red Bull Air Race 2 game is the next best thing…
As the official Fuel and Carbon Reduction partner of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, we are excited to have created the Air BP Challenge within the Red Bull Air 2 game.
Simply download the game from the apple or android store to your phone or mobile device. If you already have the app installed, you will need to update to the most recent version to access the Air BP Challenge.
After a series of tutorials, you can access the challenges. You’ll be greeted by Red Bull Air Race pilot, Martin Sonka, who will give you a flight briefing, then you’ll be prompted for a code AIRBP-LTCR2-WCEAD and your email address to unlock the exclusive Air BP challenges.
You can race on two tracks – the Arabian Gulf and the Abu Dhabi loop. Make sure you are on an internet connection to compete against other players in real time on the Abu Dhabi loop and you could end up on our leader board!
