Last month saw us attending some exciting industry events.
On 26 November, we were honoured to be invited to the official handover of the first aeromedical equipped Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Australia. The RFDS, which offers a lifeline to those living in regional and remote areas of the country, are modernising their fleet with new Pilatus aircraft as part of their 90th anniversary celebrations. We are proud to be recognised as an official partner of this worthwhile organisation and are supporting their new Pilatus PC-24 delivery flights from Switzerland to Australia as part of our sponsorship package.
Meanwhile, Thorbjorn Larsson, CEO, Air BP Nordics, was asked to deliver a keynote address at this year’s Airports Council International (ACI) Europe and Asia-Pacific Airport Exchange. Hosted by Avinor at Oslo Airport from 27-29 November, the event is ACI’s biggest annual trade show and is a truly global event attracting over 1,500 delegates from around the world. Larsson’s address covered how the aviation industry’s carbon reduction targets will only be achieved with support from across the supply chain. He also highlighted the need to drive change through sustainable aviation fuels, carbon neutral operations and offsetting programmes.
