FLP programme is an amazing programme that brings a group of enthusiastic and ambitious talents together and opens the door of opportunities for individual growth, skill sets and good experience in our Downstream business, which gets me prepared for my long-term career. It's a well-organized programme and a good self-development journey.Elaine Xian Gu, FLP, China
My mentor is my gold standard for management. Besides her charisma and valuable career advice, she has made me part of the BP world by introducing me to excellent people.Alessandro Antonioli, FLP, United Kingdom
Being a member of the FLP community gives you immediate credibility. People trust you and give you meaningful projects to remonstrate your ability to add value in a particular area within BP.Dr. Cynthia Pierre, FLP, Australia
I am currently working on a strategic project for the company. It’s a three year strategy for the Castrol auto service channel. The fact that the company has given me the opportunity to do this after just three months means a lot. BP really want to empower their people.Aida Elbouanani, Key Account Manager, UAE
As a member of FLP, you get lots of opportunities to talk to many different teams within BP, so I have been fortunate to be able to work with the venturing team. It’s fascinating to see how they deploy capital to benefit the wider business, and potentially the whole world.Robin Zhu, Project Engineer, Canada
FLP give you an amazing opportunity to develop. People trust and believe in you and they’ll do whatever they can to help you grow into the organisation. The HR team is very supportive as is the FLP community. People here are also very approachable.Alix, FLP, Chicago
Previous to working for BP, I was a professional athlete for 13 years. BP really optimised the same values and behaviours that I look to in sport and I see these in everyday life at BP – people live and breathe the values. To be on the BP programme is a honour; it’s an amazing programme. Fewer and fewer corporations are investing like BP is in development. BP create opportunities for growth and expanded learning and broaden your spectrum of skills and what you bring to the table.Emily, FLP, United Kingdom
