Join our Finance function and advance your career as a

ARC Senior SME – Accounting, Reporting, Control

In this role You will:
  • Ensure that the Group reporting manual is properly applied at the local entity level and all accounting judgements are consulted, evidenced, documented and approved
  • Act as finance SME to the business
  • Oversee and validate reporting for the local entity(ies) and provides assurance to the Accounting, Reporting and Control Manager on the integrity of the financial reports
  • Lead and drive the Financial close standardization project
  • Support ARC manager to influence others to achieve desired self/team goals and objectives
  • Ensure financial reporting meets the requirements for Group reporting
  • Ensure requirements of all local legislation over financial reporting, accounting and control are met
  • Responsible for the oversight of the local entities balance sheet and cash flow, and treatment of cross charges for the country / cluster costs, including consistency
  • Accountable for assuring the accuracy & completeness of the actuals / forecast process
  • Support the Accounting, Reporting and Control Manager on the control agenda
  • Drive continuous improvement projects
  • Coach the wider finance and business teams, to build capabilities and develop competencies and professional qualifications
  • Own and maintain stakeholder management for Period End close
  • Own the standard close timetable
  • Plan and implement modernization and transformation agenda
  • Coordinate the Period End close activities

In this role we have the following requirements:
  • Relevant degree in finance or economics
  • Absolute fluency in “business English”
  • 5+ years experience in finance
  • SAP knowledge is essential
  • Experience with master data and SAP projects within finance is an advantage
  • Proven track record in controls, compliance & risk management in a multi-national environment
  • Proven track record demonstrating ability to interact with and influence people at all levels within the organisation, building strong relationships quickly
  • Looks for ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently, and drive continuous improvement methodology
