Job summary

Responsible for delivering the indirect sales strategy and financial performance targets including Sales Volume, Gross Margin and Overdue, managing local distributor partners and intermediaries/resellers in the sales territory or geography, finding prospect partners, coaching distributors and monitoring their financial position to ensure long term sustainable value for the company. The scope of the role will influence the grade – this can include financial accountability, geographical scope, leadership responsibilities and overall level of responsibility.
This role will manage Distributor & Distributor's Sales Team to achieve sales and distribution target (Volume, GM & Distribution parameter) within the given territories (Distributor’s territory)

Key Accountabilities :

  • Introduce and communicate company HSSE and Code of Conduct agenda to the distributor
  • Improve width and depth of distribution of Castrol's product
  • Handle & develop Castrol’s distributor business development including it’s return on investment (sales turn over, AP to Castrol, inventory & working capital)
  • Drive distributor sales team to meet company objective
  • To implement credit control policies and ensure effective collections and credit management of distributor accounts
  • Implement & supervise National program & initiate local promotion activities to improve sales
  • Improve Distributor Sales Team Capabilities and lift their performance thru the World Sales Call (WCSC) and measurable sales important metric
  • Run & develop closed relationship with Castrol dedicated channel (Bike point, CAS, OEM & Wholesaler)
  • Monitor and make sure distributor Turf view are update every day
  • Conduct regular business meeting with respective distributor (quarterly business review, DOPEX assessment, etc) and make sure distributor sales teProvide required reports on timely manneram conduct weekly performance review meeting
Essential Experience and Job Requirement :
  • Hold minimum Bachelor's degree (from any discipline)
  • Minimum 5 years of sales & marketing experience
  • Excellent distributor management knowledge & skills
  • Good knowledge in Indonesia Consumer Lubricants Market
  • Effective leadership skills which embrace change & challenge
  • Organizational, planning, budgeting and control skills
  • Have a strong business sense, ability to have a clear view of overall business objectives
  • Strong ability to complete tasks with time constraints and handle multiple demands/projects
  • Possess enthusiasm, perseverance, and a strong desire to succeed
