About the role

The B2B Marketing Execution Advisor role is a commercial customer focused role, with a deep understanding of the external customer/consumer and the mobility business, this role will define and implement the marketing strategy for the German B2B consumer business on a 2-year horizon and ensure in year delivery of the plans. As a member of the local B2B bp pulse operations team this role is key to ensure the customer remains at the heart of everything we do whilst also ensuring P&L delivery.
This role is to set the annual marketing agendas and manages the prioritisation of B2B German marketing activities that underpin the key health and performance metrics (HC GM, EV hubs etc.) for Aral pulse Germany.
This role is tasked to develop and execute customer plans to target B2B EV consumers, to build awareness of bp pulse and attract and retain consumers focussing on B2B offers and services in close collaboration with the in-cluster teams.

In collaboration with the bp pulse and M&C European marketing teams, this role will develop and foster a positive and integrated culture within and across the markets to create a positive, collaborative, and agile ways of working.

What would be your responsibilities?

Brand & Communications

  • Define B2B customer and marketing strategy for Aral pulse in Germany
  • Develop and execute the B2B EV 24-month customer plan and integrate to existing Mobility & Convenience Europe communications plan and activities where relevant to provide a seamless and simple message to customers
  • Monitor external trends and best practices in support of refining internal strategy development
  • Work with product development, operations and digital solution teams for seamless execution of strategy
  • Direct interface with the Mobility & Convenience Europe and Global marketing brand & communications teams for planning purposes
  • Develop the annual budget plan and resource priorities for customer and marketing needs
Customer Management
  • Put the customer first by understanding their user experiences and own the consumer metrics
  • Identify and propose incremental offers to enhance customer acquisition and retention, while driving for incremental margins
  • Work with the internal Global marketing team to implement brand visual standards, and administer the consistent usage (act as the brand custodian)
Marketing execution
  • Lead and execute the in-market B2B EV offer and activities (media plans and promotional activities) with a strong focus on acquisition and lead generation campaigns
  • Own the customer plan reporting and metrics for allocated campaigns and marketing activities
  • Direct interface with the operations and project implementation teams to drive the execution of the marketing support activities
  • Localisation and transcreation of any global brand assets across all communications channels (retail sites, digital...)
  • Own and manage bp pulse digital assets (websites, digital touchpoints)
  • Manage budgets for allocated campaigns, including invoice and payment process
What should you bring to this role?
  • University degree (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science)
  • 5+ years’ experience and understanding of marketing, customer plans and comms activation
  • Demonstrated expertise in launching products, managing brands and driving ATL and BTL including personalized marketing programs
  • Marketing background with demonstrated ability to implement with accountability for financial delivery (budget planning and performance management)
  • Proven understanding of digital environments and experience in managing digital activities
  • Proven track record of challenging the status quo to deliver value for customers
  • Experience in the EV charging infrastructure space and related energy management will be a plus
  • Cross European Country experience preferable
  • Fluent German and English language skills
