Job summary

The purpose of the CF & Planning Performance Analyst role is to increase our overall analytical and MI competency and support the EMEA Performance unit through the provision of high quality analysis of relevant performance data, identifying sources of deviation and opportunities for improvement. This will also include performance reporting and support of the development of performance dashboards and workbooks in data visualisation tools. The role will provide analytical input for supply chain and performance unit level projects.
This role takes functional guidance from and works closely with the EMEA Performance Unit Project and Performance Manager.

CF & Planning Performance Analyst

In this role You will:
  • Provides insights by conducting robust analysis on relevant Supply Chain and Order to Cash process performance, propose course of action and follow-up with relevant action owners. Analysis will be on a routine or ad hoc basis
  • Creates and/or maintains routine performance reports and dashboards of key metrics and KPI’s with a high degree of accuracy and punctuality
  • Designs or maintains data visualisation workbooks and take ownership of any data extraction process
  • Supports the preparation of weekly/monthly performance unit level performance packs (MI)
  • Support supply chain projects (network optimisation, service level improvement, logistics efficiency, etc.) in accordance with BP guidelines (CVP methodology), ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, effective execution meeting project milestones and targets
  • Ad hoc training and support relating to data extraction, performance reporting and use of the associated tools
  • Recommends performance interventions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Recommends data quality and standards improvements

We have the following requirements:
  • Fluency in English language both written and verbal
  • Education (University degree). Specialization in Supply Chain Management preferred but not essential
  • High degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of SAP (mandatory), Excel, Microsoft Access and business reporting tools (e.g. MI/SAP Business Objects)
  • Excellent analytical skills, highly numerate with a strong attention to detail and lateral thinking skills
  • Good commercial understanding and business acumen
  • Ability to interpret vast amounts of data and communicate these effectively through well constructed visuals and presentations
  • Understanding of performance management concepts, benchmarking and metrics
  • Ability to understand and apply statistical concepts
  • Problem Solving – identify, analyse and solve problems; utilise, adapt and develop resources
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with an awareness of different cultures within the customer base, team and organization
  • Knowledge and experience of Global Supply Chain Operations and Order To Cash processes
  • Advance knowledge of MS Access including Visual Basic language (VBA) programming
  • Experience on SQL language and programming
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP modules, ECC (mandatory), APO (desirable) and BW
  • Highly proficient on MS office tools (MS Word, MS Excel including macro’s, MS Powerpoint)
  • Designing and updating dashboards on Tableau, Power BI or similar would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity working with Datalake environments (Cloudera)
